There is a Tavern with a hole in its floor that leads to Hell. Sometimes things crawl out. Scary things. Dangerous things. Sometimes people die. The Hell-gods laugh and plot. They are tired of Hell. It is almost time to leave. There Are No Heroes Killed by plot and treachery; corrupted by evil, the heroes are almost gone. Tessla remains. She fights a battle she can only lose. She needs help, but there is no help. She is alone. The Virtuous Gods Reach Out But few answer when called. A young girl sings while her mother mourns. A cursed crime-lord plans murder and deals with Hell. A queen fights to save her husband and her kingdom. They sink deeper and deeper into the traps of Hell until... A Spawn Escapes A lowly spawn, slave of all Hell-kind, crawls out of the Hole. He bears the cursed hook of a god instead of a hand. He has no conscience. He knows only hate and fear. He will do anything to stay out of hell. There Will Be Hell On Earth It is almost here. The virtuous gods stand helpless, unwilling to destroy the land to save mankind. They watch their avatars. They wait, and they hatch plots of their own.
