In our wired world the production of consumer electronics is growing more than ever to satisfy our always-on, always-connected society. While people enjoy faster technology in smaller devices, what they may not realize is that even when not charging, these gadgets consume a substantial amount of energy. As the number of these electronic gadgets increase, so do utility bills and greenhouse gas emissions.
